OH-LA-LA MONSEUR DYLAN: First show in Montreal, March 2004

OH-LA-LA MONSEUR DYLAN: exhibition of Paintings, “Come As you Are,” Montreal , March 2004
I moved to Montrel in November of 2003, 10 days before my 20th Birthday. I went there with two other artists and fellow Stratford boys, Nick Kuepferand Matt Miller.
My first show of paintings in Montreal was actually in a sex shop in the mile end called “Come as you are.” These paintings included a few left overs from the Pulp Fiction series, as well as some of the series offspring, “The Pulp paintings 2004.” which we larger, weirder, and not as cohesive as the original batch. It included classic titles such as “Ray Guns to Stun”, “Pinko: Is your neighbour a communist?”, and ” Boom Boom I love you.” But due to we state of impoverishment at the time, I was unable to create any record of these works. They’re out there some where though.
