THE CURRENT SEASON: Pop Montreal Poster #4
I am very Pleased…
to present the Fourth installment of my posters for Pop Montreal this year. — I hope that you like it, feel free to let me know what you think. — This poster might stand out amongst the others as being different. It’s done in almost a completely different style, it’s a cartoon; the lines are in blue, not black; it is a much less realistic interpretation of a scene, where as the other ones were more like idealized sketches, (peopled looked like real people, they had noses). — And maybe it’s just the initial infatuation with finished work speaking, but I actually find that I’m enjoying the above style, the “cartoony” one, even better than the previous three. I find myself wishing that I could go back and do the redo the first three posters in this style. — What do you think? Let me know which one’s better.
Oh, and if anyone is wondering who that strange looking Ice-man like character is in the top right; he’s a Golem. A rather ancient and traditional super hero. — On his forehead reads the word “truth”, and he’s actually made of clay, not ice.
